THE GATHERING TAGCOM CONVENTION:

This year marks the sixth time that the anime fair has been held. Some 270 exhibitors, including anime production companies, DVD marketing firms and technical schools are taking part in this year's fair -- the largest number to date.
About 100,000 visitors are expected at the event this year, more than the 98,000 visitors recorded in 2006.
At the fair new television anime shows such as "Seirei no Moribito" (Guardian of the Sacred Spirit), "Romeo x Juliet," and "Okiku Furikabutte" are being introduced. A robot expo featuring robots from such anime productions as "8 Man" and "Mobile Suit Gundam" is also being held.
In addition a car from the popular anime "Lupin III" is on display.
The fair, which is being held at the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition venue, will run until Sunday, with general admission opening on Saturday.
After general admission begins, voice actors for new anime such as "Love Complex," "Skull Man" and "Hayate the Combat Butler" will make a live appearance on stage, as live anime songs are presented.
The general admission fee is 1,000 yen. The fee for junior high and high school students is 500 yen. The official website is available now for public view — however more content is to be expected at a later date…
